Moray has been enjoying something of a heat wave. It will last less than a week, but Margaret, Jenny and John tested out their ‘hill legs’, and stamina, with a practice walk from Fochabers to Craigellachie along the Speyside Way.
The thirteen mile walk reminded them of why they live in such a beautiful part of the world, and how much of a challenge ‘Walk Moray for Busega’ will be!
The photos chart progress, from the bright eyed and bushy tailed rendezvous in Garmouth to the celebration picnic at Fiddich Park, Craigellachie.
Christine was the star, with refreshments of the highest order. Margaret said there was only one thing missing – champagne at the finish!
